Category: Analytical Elemental analysis, Environment and Agriculture

The LECO advanced TruMac CNS instrument can be successfully used to simultaneous analyze of CNS elements content in soil and plant tissues. This application note describes method settings, instrument calibration and testing procedure. Typical results are shown.

Knowledge about carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur (CNS) concentrations in crop plant tissue provides an important diagnostic tool to the grower, giving an indication of nutritional health and nutrient uptake efficiency from the soil. Combination of the carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur analysis in both the crop plant tissue and surrounding soil will be used to diagnose and correct any nutritional-related growth issues Ref. 203-821-539
